Havaş runs the airport coaches at İzmir Adnan Menderes. They are more comfortable than the train, take luggage in the hold, need no travel card, and go places İZBAN doesn’t — down the peninsula to Alaçatı and Çeşme, and south to Selçuk, Kuşadası and Aydın. The thing most guides get wrong is which routes run late: the peninsula and southern coaches run until roughly 22:30 or 23:30 and have an extra departure in the small hours, while the city coach has only a handful of departures a day.
1. Where to board at ADB
Exit Arrivals and turn right along the forecourt — the Havaş coach bay is signed toward the far end, separately from the municipal Eshot bus stops. There is usually a marshal and a small queue at peak times. Coaches serve both the Domestic and International terminal arrivals exits.
2. Fares & payment
- Pay onboard — card or cash accepted; you don’t need an İzmirim Kart, and İzmirim Kart fares and transfers do not apply here at all.
- Priced per person, and luggage goes in the hold at no extra charge.
- Group total matters: for a family of four, four fares at ₺550 is ₺2,200 before you have left the airport — at that point a fixed-price transfer is genuinely worth comparing. The destination pages do that arithmetic for you.

Every route Havaş currently publishes from İzmir Adnan Menderes, with its fare, journey time and departures as listed on the operator's own booking tool on 11 September 2026. These are published schedules, not live departures — Havaş can change them, so confirm on the day.
Where these coaches actually drop you
The stop matters as much as the fare. Alaçatı is Alaçatı Terminal, opposite the market place — in the town, not a roadside junction, which is what older guides describe. Çeşme is the bus station, not the Ilıca beach hotels. The Kuşadası coach calls at Selçuk, in front of the State Hospital emergency department, before ending at Kuşadası Bus Terminal by the Davutlar junction — so it is a realistic way to reach Ephesus. The city coach stops along the way at Gaziemir, Karabağlar, Alsancak (Efes Hotel), Bayraklı, Karşıyaka, Bostanlı and Mavişehir.
Havaş also lists a Nazilli route from the airport but publishes no fare or departure times for it, so we have not included it above. Treat it as unconfirmed until the operator publishes a schedule.
